The genres shown by 'His Dark Materials' are Fantasy as it is showing magical creatures, supernatural powers and alternate worlds. It also shows Adventure by their quests and journeys roaming around trying to escape the antagonists.

The characters shown are Protagonists, Antagonists and Side Characters.

4) What settings appear in the trailer?

The settings shown in the trailer are magical realms which links with the genre 'Fantasy'.

5) Who do you think the target audience for His Dark Materials is? Give reasons for your answer.

The target audiences are niche people who like the idea of fantasy and magical realms and worlds and people who like watching adventure series as it is exciting and it shows them trying to escape the antagonists roaming around to save the world.
