Audience Effects Theory
1) This is the view that audiences passively take in information from the media and it has the same effect on everyone.
2) This is the more modern and generally accepted view that audiences choose and interact with the media they consume.
3) Suggestion that audiences are always passive as it was the message that was injected into their minds.

Blue Planet
The Blue Planet is a documentary that speaks about marine life, fishes, and plants under water and supports me with saying information and surveillance. It also helps us by educating us about nature underwater for diversion and enjoyment. For personal relationships, I may say that David Attenborough is one of the greatest and most liked presenters who travels the globe.

Tip- careful, for the Blue Planet 2 analysis, you are not analysing - you need to give an example for EACH of the audience gratifications and try to include the 3 vs as well (see blog) - you have not given any specific examples from the trailer, just general ones so please go back and be specific e.g. personal relationships with the whales who may be in trouble and the viewer wants to find out if they survive
