Costume: The kids wearing casual clothes suggests they are ordinary kids and innocent. The people chasing them in the vans are wearing working clothes which could connote them to be trying to blend in with the people. The guy wearing a suit could also connote that he is the leader of all of them because he is wearing a suit which suggests he is wealthy/gentleman.

Lighting: At the start it shows the scientist running with Low-Key Lighting which shows fear. The lights are also flickering a lot which could connote to danger is coming. The lighting also could suggest connotations to horror. 

Props: The props used here are bicycles which are used to run away from the vans. All of them are wearing bags which could say they just came back from school and are little kids.

Action/Actors: The establishing shot immediately goes to this guy running from something and trying to close the lift door which connotes to that someone mysterious, gloomy is chasing him and that could mean that the TV show is a horror genre. Will knew someone was there and acting like an adult by running home and getting a gun for protection

Makeup and Hair. When will was being chased by the mysterious figure he had dirt on his clothes and his face when he fell down.

Setting: At the start of the show the dark gloomy laboratory suggests that it could be a horror show while hes running away which could also connote to a experiment going wrong.
